Sports like volleyball is a great activity that can be learn at a young age and carry on for the rest of your lives. People love volleyball because it benefits them to exercise, learn teamwork, social interaction, and sportsmanship. Spiking is one powerful technique to score in a volleyball game. Spiking is a technique used to send the ball on opponent side in such manner that the ball is not returnable. I learn these steps on how to have a perfect spike when I am attending volleyball activities in Dubai.

Here are the steps that may help you to spike like a pro.

The Approach – Take the first step on your left foot then the second step is on your right foot, make sure these step is build on speed. These steps must take you to the ball. As you take the second step make sure to swing your arms behind you, doing this help you to add extra inches in your jump. The third and last step is on your left foot and it should follow quickly on your second step.

The Jump – When your last step lands keep your body turned 30 degrees from net at your striking shoulder. The jump is made by quickly swinging your arms forward to upward while your two legs pushing your body into the air. The higher you can jump the more powerful your spike can be.

Arm Swing and Hit – Pull your hitting elbow back and bend it about 90 degrees. Rotate your hitting arm to your shoulder joint and quickly move your elbow forward. Your forearm should whip forward as your hands accelerates toward the ball and your hand should snap forward as you make contact with the ball.
